Web Site Memorial for Roadside deaths

Most of what I post here are images of memorials along the roadside that remember tragic deaths that happened near or around that location. There are a few websites that I have come across from time to time that also memorialize roadside deaths.

Remember the Fallen, Texas Heros lists the deaths of Police Officers who died, by year, since 2000. Interestingly there are quite a few automobile accidents that were the cause of the officers' deaths. "Struck by Vehicle", "Automobile Accident", "Vehicle Assault", and "Motorcycle Accident" are just some of the causes that leads one to visualize that their deaths occurred, somewhere, by the roadside.

William Cannon Rd, Austin, Tx.

This memorial is located west of South 1st Street on William Cannon on the strip of grass between the 6 lanes of traffic. The back side looks exactly the same except for two small ceramic angels.

It reads:

We brought in a Diamond.
God took an Angel.
Though you can't see or touch me - I'll be near.
And if you listen with your heart,
you'll hear all my love around you soft and clear.
We love you and miss you.
